It’s never predictable, it’s always exciting, and it’s on at Ryan’s – it’s the Cheltenham Festival!
We’ve seen upsets and triumphs and a lot of hats, and it’s all gearing up for Gold Cup day tomorrow – the main event kicks off at 3.20pm, with three varied hurdle and handicap races either side of it. As always, we’ll be showing it all on a collection of big screens.
We’ll be holding a sweep stake with some fabulous prizes, and if you fancy a guaranteed win we’ll also be laying on a free buffet, you just can’t lose!
The 6 Nations is one of our highlights of the year – this year we’re hosting our friends from Italy, Wales and Ireland, and of course, Scotland’s enormous home crowd.
You’ll only find a better atmosphere at Murrayfield itself, but if you’re not lucky enough to have tickets we’ll have every game on the big screens, plenty of fine beers including some seasonal specials and lots of traditional snacking food to keep you going through half time.
If you’re visiting you’ll find us at the West end of Princes Street, a short walk (or bus ride) from both Waverley and Haymarket train stations, and Edinburgh’s main bus station on St Andrew Square.
Welcome to 2015, we’d like to wish a very happy new year to all our customers!
And with the new year we’ve got some big changes coming up in The Cellar Restaurant – it’s all very hush-hush at the moment but we’re all very excited about the upcoming refurbishment and we think you’ll enjoy what we have planned.
Please note that the Cellar Restaurant is now closed – as ever, our kitchen team will be supplying their fantastic menus in the Main Bar and Coffee Shop, as well as working on some incredible new menus for our new space downstairs…watch this space!
